November 16, 2012 – Over the weekend, Rohit Communities kicked off the holiday season with a bang! For the second year in a row, Rohit Communities participated in the Festival of Trees event, held at the Macdonald Island Park in Fort McMurray. The Festival of Trees is an annual three-day event that features beautiful and uniquely decorated Christmas trees, holiday inspired entertainment for the entire family and an elegant gala in support of the Northern Lights Regional Health Foundation.
This year, Rohit Communities entered a whimsical “builder” inspired Christmas tree. Proudly displaying Rohit colours, the tree was tastefully decorated with lights, ribbons and ornaments, and topped off with a handyman’s dream display of Dewalt tools. As though that wasn’t enticing enough, a trip to our Copper Point Resort in Invermere, BC and a $1,000 gift card was included as well!
Garnering buzz and attention from all who were in awe of the overall display, the tree raised a total of $21,500 towards the foundation – the highest bid at the auction! A big thank you to Rohit’s very own Kerri, Melanie, Eileen, Angelina and Darryl for their dedication and effort in putting together an amazing display that represented Rohit Communities beautifully!
